Le Hollywood Reporter a révélé que John Wick le scénariste Derek Kolstad va écrire et produire une série télévisée basée sur le jeu indépendant à succès, Mon ami Pedro.
L’adaptation à venir est décrite dans le rapport comme une «série dramatique d’une demi-heure cotée R». Legendary Television, DJ2 Entertainment et 87North Productions collaboreront au projet, Legendary Entertainment ayant apparemment acquis les droits de la Mon ami Pedro jeu vidéo aux fins de cette adaptation.
87North de David Leitch (codirecteur de John Wick et directeur de Deadpool 2) servira également de producteur exécutif sur ce projet aux côtés de divers autres représentants des studios concernés. Il n’y a pas de mot pour le moment concernant une fenêtre de sortie prévue pour la série télévisée ou toute indication concernant le réseau ou le service de streaming qui pourrait éventuellement le récupérer.
Selon Mon ami PedroCréateur de Victor Ågren, cette collaboration représente quelque chose dont il n’aurait jamais pu rêver.
